Re: Bud's Manx Restoration - Part Deux - Clutch Upgrade

Since I am the President of the "I can't leave well enough alone." Club, I'm always looking at some modification/improvement for our little Fantasy Ship. Last winter's upgrade project was to replace the cable clutch with a hydraulic clutch. Who do you call? Dr. Zarkov, of course. In his o...

Re: Storage Box Build

I like the new top, especially the stickers on the underside. Thanks. I'm hoping to fill that lid up one day with all the places we've driven the buggy. I need to add a 3rd country to that list. Hopefully soon. I also have a collection of "special and meaningful" stickers on the right. :w...

Re: Storage Box Build

Update on this build thread: Years have passed and the wooden top I made, due to its weight, started rubbing on the body. Additionally, the cabinet hinges I used for the top really never worked well. 8 years later it was time to build a better mouse trap. For a while I have been looking at the fibe...

I am not an EV fan generally, but this little buggy is the future for our hobby. I wish I was one of the "target market", but I'll still enjoy seeing the progress and pictures. For that matter, I wish I was in the Ford GT "target market." :D

Re: Hope this Forum gets going again.

Like the rest of the responders, I prefer this forum to anti-social media. I exclusively put my pictures in the gallery and write article-like posts that hopefully some read. I refer back to a lot of my former posts for reference.

Here's hoping for better times...

I would agree. I did my first FG project this year and found that it isn't that hard. Obviously practice helps perfect technique. Best of luck to you.

Re: Bud's Manx Restoration - Part Deux

While sitting in the garage and staring at my lights one evening I realized the Hella lenses were almost the same size, in diameter, as the light itself so I tried putting the KC rock guard over top of the Hella lens. I couldn't snap the KC rock guard in place but I realized the Hella lens would fi...
