Cool Country Nights -- Genoa, NV. -- September 14-16, 2012
Great event! Thanks Bob Hunter, Anita and Bob Kornoff and the Jubillee Ranch. Thanks also to Mark Gruenke and Jason for giving Lori Ann and I seats for the Tunnel run after I hurt the engine in our buggy on friday. We spent the weekend connecting with allot of wonderful club members from ALL over.

Safety Equipment
Ok, I couldn't agree more on the importance of safety equipment in our Buggies (even though it has taken me a few years to finally install a working E-brake) but that being said I also feel that what draws us to these vehicles is the individual creativity in each one, just like the people that own...

Big Bear Bash 2012
Great footage Vincent, even more impressive when you realize that you 2 had already traveled around 4200 miles to get there. The view of that valley was incredible.

LED tail-lights
http://i850.photobucket.com/albums/ab70/manxvair/Manxvair/LEDtaillight.jpg I took Scott Drolet's lead and ordered the 62-67 VW LED conversion kit for my tail lights. The lights are great, the rapid fire feature blinks the lights 3 times when the brakes are applied to get their attention behind you....

Lori Ann's project begins
Lori Ann's project Towd is underway. (of course now my upgrades are on hold) It's ready for a trip to Dave Barrett's for some frame additions. It's rough but you've got to start somewhere, right? This is just a mock-up tub, we have a new never installed tub for the finished product, along with the ...

002 transmission ID
I'm trying to ID the year of this 002 trans I picked up. The stamped numbers don't fit the standard format and it has a different type of main shaft seal then the '73 I picked up. Thanks. http://i850.photobucket.com/albums/ab70/manxvair/Towd/LorisTowd005.jpg http://i850.photobucket.com/albums/ab70/m...

Tow'd gas tank sending unit?
So as I'm looking over the Lori Ann's Tow'd project parts, I noticed there is no provision for a sending unit in the original gas tank, has any body added one? if so any tips.
Thanks
