HELP~lost part
I need some help in locating a lost washer. The swing axle was taken apart a couple of years ago, and I seem to have lost the outside washer on the axle assembly. It's a thin steel washer that protects the rubber axle seal from the elements. If Anyone has an old Axle end cap, I sure would love to ge...

One more thought just crossed my mind. Are your fuel lines big enough to supply the needs of your system? I recall thet they need to be at least 6AN or larger for the system to operate. Your two problem flat spots sound like fuel starvation. Just off idle, then again at high RPMs. Jon

SDS System
You got one hell of an engine from Aircooled Tech. Didn't realize we both have one special powerhouse.... If Jake built your engine, it should have several hours of running time on his dyno! I can't believe he didn't work out all the bugs in the system. Man, I'd be calling him tonight to work out al...

Back to my first statement! mount it to a cross bar! Here's where the roll cage mounts thru the FGB and has a hard point to the frame. only three holes on each side to contend with.... Outside and Inside shots Take a look at the whole roll cage at: http://users.adelphia.net./~jpboyton/

check out "Crow Enterprizes" at least you will see how far below your shoulder blades the straps must be. Don't have stainless but: I had a cross bar welded on the roll bar to anchor my belts. High enough to get your legs under, for those who rather ride in the rear. http://www.crowenterpr...

Joseph, Saw that brake setup in the latest HOT VW mag.... thought I would also try it. Those rear bolts aren't even tightened up... they're just holding the tube up to put in the rear bearings. Thanks for the heads up, I'll flip them! This whole unit is getting fitted with a 2270cc TYPE IV EFI Airco...
